Why we started
We started Pizza Oven Company South Africa for a simple reason. Most people who want proper pizza at home end up choosing between a cheap tin box that never gets hot enough, and a built-in oven that costs thousands and never moves again. Neither one gets you a good pizza on a Friday night.
One oven, chosen properly
We sell a single outdoor gas pizza oven and we picked it carefully: a steel body, a built-in thermometer, an electronic ignition and a cordierite pizza stone for 30cm pizzas. It runs much hotter than a kitchen oven, which is why a home-baked base never comes out the same.
What comes in the box
It arrives with the pizza stone, cooking grill, grid, chimney, four legs and the bullnose hose and regulator. Connect a 9kg gas cylinder and you can cook the same evening. It is listed as LPGSASA approved, and it is for outdoor use only. No separate manufacturer warranty is sold with it; your rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply in full.
Delivery
Orders dispatch within 2 working days, and standard delivery is free across South Africa, arriving within 7 working days of dispatch. Want it sooner? Express delivery (within 3 to 5 working days of dispatch) is a R649 option at checkout. Either way you get a tracking link by email as soon as your parcel is on its way. If something is not right
Your rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply to everything we sell. If your oven turns up faulty, or it is not what the page described, email us and we will put it right. You can also return an unused oven in its sealed packaging within 14 days of delivery. Our refunds and returns page explains how that works.

Who is behind Pizza Oven Company South Africa
Pizza Oven Company South Africa is part of a family-owned group of online stores. Our CEO, Renoo Caruso, is a Christian preacher based in Phetchaburi, Thailand. Renoo leads a local church with a congregation of more than 200 people and shares daily Bible teaching in Thai through renoo.faith and a YouTube channel with over 1,600 videos.
That faith shapes how we trade. Clear prices, honest product details, and a real person answering your email. We would rather lose a sale than mislead a customer.

Do you deliver across South Africa?
Yes. We ship to all nine provinces, to residential and commercial addresses. Delivery is free on every order, with no hidden shipping charges. Some outlying and rural addresses can take a little longer, so send us a message if you want to check before ordering.
How long does delivery take?
Orders are dispatched within 2 working days. Standard delivery then takes up to 7 working days. You get a tracking link by email as soon as it ships.
Is there a faster option?
Yes. Express delivery is a R649 upgrade you can choose in the cart. Standard delivery stays free, so express is a paid upgrade you only take if you want the oven sooner.
What payment methods can I use?
You can pay by card through Stripe, or with your PayPal account. Everything is processed securely and we never see or store your card details.
What does the pizza oven cost delivered?
R7,999, delivered. That is the total price you pay to your door anywhere in South Africa on standard delivery, with the pizza stone, cooking grill, grid, hose and regulator included.
What gas does it run on, and is the tank included?
It runs on LPG. You connect it to a 9kg gas cylinder using the bullnose regulator and hose supplied. The cylinder itself is not included, and it is easy to pick up or swap locally.
How hot does it get, and how fast does it cook?
It runs much hotter than a kitchen oven. Cooking time depends on the dough and the toppings, so watch each pizza closely and turn it halfway.
Can I use it indoors?
No. This is a propane appliance and it is for outdoor use only. Use it on a stable, level surface with clear space around it, and follow the instruction manual and your local gas safety rules.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
If it is unused and still in its original sealed packaging, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will assess the return. Return shipping in that case is yours to cover. Once the oven has been used or assembled we cannot take it back unless there is a fault.
What happens if it arrives damaged or faulty?
Contact us within 14 days of delivery with your order reference and clear photographs, and we will arrange a replacement, replacement parts, or a full refund. Please keep the packaging until you have checked everything. No separate manufacturer warranty is sold with the oven; your rights under the Consumer Protection Act apply in full.
How do I clean the stone without ruining it?
Let it cool completely, then brush the loose ash and crumbs off with a dry stiff brush. Never use soap or water on the stone: it absorbs both and steams them back out on your next cook. The steel body just needs a damp cloth and a dry off.
Is it certified for use in South Africa?
The product listing states LPGSASA approval and lists SANS 1539, SANS 1237 and SANS 1156, the South African standards for the appliance, the regulator and the hose. It is for outdoor use only.
